Dr. Ngan Lei Tjen
Sales / Business Coach
Characterized as an activator, achiever and strategist, Dr. Ngan is strong in perceiving strategic paths to success and steering plans continuously to exceed business goals. She has developed leadership and executive training and development curricula for financial institutions, fintech companies, manufacturers and retailers.
She is an accountant certified in HK, UK, US and Canada. She progressed from Green Belt quality professional in 1990 to lean six sigma master black belt in 2012. She is also a registered quality professional and corporate trainer in China.
Dr Ngan is the Chief Executive of the Greater Bay Area Academy and Chairperson for C-suite leadership and management talent development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Bay Area Economic and Trade Association.
She was formerly the Group Human Resources, Training & Development Director of a Hong Kong publicly listed multinational company with presence in 30 countries. She was the Head of Academy of a Hong Kong publicly listed British financial company, managing a full spectrum of industry-leading relationship sales and wealth management training curriculum.
Prior to that, Dr. Ngan was a Vice President of a US-listed banking conglomerate where she acquired solid experience across front, middle and back-office, including branch sales management, wealth-management products, sales management, business analytics and treasury product development.
Dr. Ngan was appointed with multiple roles on top of her functional responsibilities since 1990, including but not limited to line-trainer, continuous business improvement champion, innovation and technology project leader, head of service quality and strategic management.
While herself a veteran in the financial and banking industry, she is well-connected with the industry practitioners in various functions and seniority. As a people manager and a sales management person for many years, communicating at ease with different personalities from organizations is her second nature.
